Location: Burntwood
Rate: £ negotiable
We are currently looking for an experienced aluminium fabricator to commence work as soon as possible on a permanent basis in the Burntwood area.
The ideal candidate will have a high degree of product knowledge in a variety of aluminium systems, predominantly Schuco, Senior, Kawneer, Technical, Raynaers and Smarts.
You will be responsible for all fabrication, inclusive of cutting, machining, beading and gasketing of aluminium frames.
Training will be provided in all aspects of what we do and how our client operates.
Job Description:
- Fabrication including; cutting, machining, beading and gasketing of aluminium frames ie. doors, windows, curtain walling systems.
- Ensuring manufacturing schedule is achieved as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible to meet targets and deadlines.
- Use of various machinery ie. punch tools, mitre saw, copy router, pillar drill and CNC machine.
- Assisting with incoming goods deliveries.
- Ensure all maintenance and cleaning duties are performed daily.
- Provide quality control inspections on all finished projects and deliveries.
Candidates should:
- Possess a high degree of product knowledge
- Have experience in a similar role previously
- Be driven to achieve objectives regardless of problems that may arise
- Achieve team objectives
- Transmit information in a clear, concise and confident manner
This position is a full time, permanent role with the client. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
