Location: Fradley Park, Lichfield

Rate: £ 21k - £23k p/a

Job Title: Project Administrator
We are recruiting on behalf of our customer who are a specialist interior fit out business based in Fradley Park. Their work involves the fit out of property in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors across the UK. At any one time they have multiple live sites at various stages. Projects run for different durations, including night works and weekends.
This is a perfect role for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to work as a team, as well as on their own initiative. You will be supporting a busy Health and Safety team, as they support multiple interior fit-out projects at any one time. This role plays a vital part in the health and safety department and smooth running of the business.
The roles and responsibilities include the following:
ï‚· Provide full secretarial and administration support to the Project team helping them to make best use of their time.
ï‚· Responsibility for specific projects and tasks.
ï‚· Maintain document control / filing and document processes for the efficient management of projects
ï‚· Support the project team in daily Administration roles
ï‚· Perform data entry and recording on various websites and internal databases.
ï‚· Answering telephone calls, screening and taking messages as appropriate
ï‚· Arranging access and booking permits where required.
ï‚· Raising labour purchase orders through Microsoft Access
ï‚· Sorting and distributing incoming post and organizing and sending outgoing post.
ï‚· Photocopying and printing various project documents.
ï‚· Liaising with staff in other departments and relevant external organisations
ï‚· Adhoc projects / duties as required
ï‚· Reception cover as required

ï‚· Be persistent & enthusiastic.
ï‚· Tact, discretion and respect for confidentiality
ï‚· Reliable and honest.
ï‚· Certificates to a reasonable grade in both Maths and English.
ï‚· Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of project activities
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting agendas and minutes
- Track project deliverables and ensure they are completed on time
- Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations
- Support project team members with administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a project administrator or in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus
